Oppenheimer Asia Adds To Hong Kong Presence

Oppenheimer Investments Asia, a subsidiary of Oppenheimer & Co, has announced two new appointments that would help bolster its presence in Hong Kong and the rest of the region.

Patrick Wong, who previously was a research analyst at First Shanghai Securities, has been named associate director for business development, while Caroline Lau, who has served key roles at Raymond James in Florida, is now an associate in the firm's equity department.

The company is a well-known provider of wealth management, securities brokerage and investment banking services to high net worth individuals, families, corporate executives, businesses and other institutions. To date, Oppenheimer has over 40 research analysts worldwide, covering more than 600 companies. It has over 90 offices operating out of the US, Europe, Israel and Asia.
